Cornish Energy produces Energy Performance Certificates. We also offer home Energy Advice and can assist with obtaining Green Deal Loans.

WE operate in mainland Cornwall west of Truro. We offer a professional and friendly service at a fair price. Domestic Energy Assessors must, by law, belong to an accreditation scheme. We are members of accreditation schemes run by NHER/SAVA and also STROMA.

The Green List
This includes every organization we can find that has any legitimate claim to be part of the "Green Agenda". It is intended to let you see the wood for the trees.

We prepare Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for estate agents, letting agents, solicitors, professional residential landlords, developers selling newly built properties and private home owners who are selling or letting their property.

An EPC will give an energy efficiency rating (SAP rating) score from 0 to 100 and is banded as an A - G rating as used on Fridges and Freezers. This is followed by advice on how to improve the home’s energy performance.

GREEN DEAL, RHI, FIT, PAYS: The Government is keen on introducing many new "Initiatives". The Green Deal will is due to be implemented during 2012. This will assist home owners up to £6,500. Don't hold your breath. We are keeping an eye.
