Cornish Energy produces Energy Performance Certificates and Home Information Packs. We have connections with the Heat Pump Industry and can advise on this. We sell a range of products that can assist the home owner to conserve energy.

WE operate in mainland Cornwall west of Truro. We offer a professional and friendly service at a fair price. Domestic Energy Assessors must, by law, belong to an accreditation scheme. We are members of the accreditation scheme run by NHER/SAVA.

We prepare Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for estate agents, letting agents, solicitors, HIP providers, professional residential landlords, developers selling newly built properties and private home owners who are selling or letting their property.

An EPC will give an energy efficiency rating (SAP rating) score from 0 to 100 and is banded as an A - G rating as used on Fridges and Freezers. This is followed by advice on how to improve the home’s energy performance.

We prepare whole Home Information Packs (HIPs) directly for individual home owners. The HIP remains the property of the home owner and can be moved on if it becomes necessary to change to a different estate agent. HIP can be enhanced beyond legal minimum..
