Retrofit

PAS 2035 is a new system introduced to facilitate grants being made to enable the upgrading of properties in certain circumstances.

There are several stages involved with retrofit:

• Assessment
• Co-ordination
• Specification
• Implementation
• Verification.

Each of the retrofit stages has a different person involved. Thus there is the Assessor who inspects the property and then later verifies the work has been done.

The retrofit coordinator will specify what work needs to be done, will recruit an operative and then schedule the work

The retrofit operative will actually perform the tasks as laid out by the retrofit coordinator.

There should be an inspection to verify the quality of the installation
