Commercial (non-domestic) EPCs
Commercial (non-domestic) EPCs work to similar ends but look from a different perspective. Whereas domestic EPCs are measuring cost.
Non-domestic EPCs measure atmospheric pollution.
A good domestic EPC score is a high number (39 points for level E), a low score for a non-domestic EPC is considered to be best.
This is hard to reconcile for those entering the profession at their start. Saving the planet might be better served by the non-domestic sphere of thought.
Non-domestic EPC surveying is similar to domestic. Many of the same physical attributes are assessed.
