Cornish Energy is the trading name of this sole trader business, James Tyas, who has been practicing since 2007.
Extra skills have been added over the years such as Legionella assessments and Display Energy Certificates and Heat Loss Calculations.
James Tyas was born in Manchester in 1950, was moved to and from Canada and Australia over the years and settled in Cornwall circa 1972.
He has a low level degree in psychology and was an early adopter of the first Sinclair home computers and has always loved systems of any sort.
He has followed a career in the hospitality sector up until 2006 when an opportunity came up training with NHER to become a Domestic Energy Assesor (DEA).
